Women's Resource Center Service Opportunity 2.25.11

The Women's Resource Center, our Community Partner, is looking for volunteers to help with their annual fundraising event (constructing gift baskets, serving at the event, set-up and tear-down).  They are also recarpeting their food pantry and need help relocating items during the carpeting installation.  If you or your Life Group are interested, please contact the Women's Resource Center at 813.661.3696 x. 242.

Steppin' Stone Farm Service Opportunity 2.25.11

Steppin' Stone Farm, our Community Partner, is looking for volunteers to participate in a work day. Volunteers would do some interior painting and would construct a pig pen.  A wood chipper is also needed to dispose of a number of large logs on the property.  If you can provide for these needs, please contact Jill at jaubin@baylife.org.

New Horizons Group Home Service Opportunity 2.25.11

New Horizons Group Home, one of our Community Partners, has a number of service projects for a Life Group to adopt.  Projects include pressure-washing, painting, installing a mailbox, splitting logs, and minor bathroom repairs.  If your Life Group would like to spend a workday at the group home, please contact Jill at jaubin@baylife.org.  Let's make a difference in our community!

Community Partner, Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels, our community partner, needs immediate volunteer help. Volunteers are needed to pick up items from Panera Bread at 8:50 pm on Monday evenings and to help prepare and deliver meals on Tuesdays.  Even if you can only provide occasional help, it would be beneficial.  For more information, contact Jill at jaubin@baylife.org.  Let's make a difference in our community!

Bay Life Academy - Featured Community Partner for February

We welcome Bay Life Academy as our featured Community Partner in our foyer during our Feb 26-27 services.  Pray for the Academy as they plan to open a second location in Riverview this fall and are currently enrolling students for both locations.  If you know a child with a learning disability, they may qualify for a full scholarship. Visit the Bay Life Academy table for more information.
